Land Selection

Whether you have already purchased a lot or acreage or are just beginning your search for the perfect building site, Oak Manor Homes can help you to select the perfect setting for your custom home. There is no charge for consulting us at the early stage and our experience in evaluating land suitability for specific designs can take the guess work out of your decision.

Design

In the early design phase you will meet with the builder in the comfort of your own home to discuss ideas, dreams and budget. From information gathered in these discussions preliminary drawings will be developed by an experienced draftsperson. These drawings will be reviewed and reworked as needed to ensure your total satisfaction with the final product. The design stage is not complete until you say it is.

Budget

Development of a budget involves working with the builder to determine the specifications or level of interior and exterior detail that your new home will showcase. Details such as stucco versus stone or hardwood versus tile are determined at this stage and are key information in developing an accurate and individually prepared budget. Once specifications have been determined accurate pricing is determined from our experienced sub trades and suppliers. A customer approved budget is the goal and specifications and blueprints can be revisited as needed to achieve your target budget.

Construction

From the building permit to the pre-possession meetings, you can expect quality workmanship, frequent on site supervision, personal involvement, open communication and flexibility that afford you the opportunity to modify your home as it evolves. You will be guided through the process of making selections for all internal and external home materials, colors and design elements.

Possession

Oak Manor Homes is a proud member of the Alberta New Home Warranty Program ensuring your investment is protected from the time of deposit to possession and beyond. Prior to your possession date, you will meet with the builder on site to do an inspection of the home. Together you will note any deficiencies or seasonal work that may not be complete. Warranties, service call schedules and operation of systems within your home will be reviewed with you resulting in peace of mind and a smooth transition into your new home.
